Adobe Reader 8 must be installed on your computer.
While working on the first
Interactive Patterns,
I started thinking about single page tools for knitting. Knitting
cheat sheets that were also design intelligent.
Not really a cheat sheet, but a sheet that would do that tricky
knitting math for us.
Why not have one sheet, that opens instantly, requires
two seconds of input and generates complete instructions for a
single knitting task that is usually problematic mathematically?
Sounded great to me.
Thus, our first Interactive Knitting Tool was
developed--The Buttonhole Spacer. Over the next several months we will
be introducing a full line of Interactive Knitting Tools.
I think that you will find these tools so useful, that you will
wonder how you survived without them. They will be easy to
understand and use, and come with a full set of instructions for
completing the task at hand.
Again, my goal was to make the Interactive Knitting Tools
universal. They will work equally well on a PC or a Mac*. The only
requirement is that
Adobe
Reader 8 is installed on the machine.
Once you have input your data and generated your instructions,
you can save the information, or print it. The tool can be
used over and over again.
Please take a few minutes to read about Interactive
Knitting Tools
And, if you would like to see
how our Interactive Patterns work, please try the
Two-Button Scarf.
*Note to our Mac customers: The Mac OS has Adobe Viewer built in.
Adobe Viewer allows you to view .pdf documents and print to .pdf.
However, Adobe Viewer is not the same as Adobe Reader. In order for
any of our line of Interactive products to work on a Mac, you must
download and install
Adobe
Reader 8. This is a free program.
